Best of Bookbits

The moment I finished reading this book, I grabbed the phone and called a friend of mine who is an English Literature professor. "Kate, you have to read this book, it's called Life of Pi and it is truly amazing." She loved it and so did everyone else. You know a book is special when high school kids are passing it back and forth to each other to read!

Winner of the 2002 Booker Prize, "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel is an extraordinary book. It tells the story of a young boy, lost in the south Pacific in a life-boat accompanied by a Royal Bengal Tiger named Richard Parker. After that things start getting a bit strange!
